Amphibians of Malawi: An analysis of their richness and community diversity in a changing landscape is based on the doctoral thesis of author, Vincenzo Mercurio. Between 2004 and 2010, Vincenzo spent over two years in Malawi and Madagascar, participated in eight international congresses and workshops around the world, cooperated as associated editor and reviewer with international magazines, and published several scientific contributions. His interest ins mainly based on the diversity and composition of amphibian communities in Africa and Europe with a focus on applicable conservation.
